Worldwide association of the road
The Worldwide association of the road was created following the congress of the road which was held with Paris in 1908, under the name of permanent International association for the Congress of the road ; the initials AIPRC , or PIARC in the anglophone countries, are always used.
Its seat is in Paris with the Arche of Defense.
It organizes a congress every four years. The last with take place with Durban and the next one will take place in Paris in September 2007.
