World off Warcraft: The Burning Crusade

World off Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is the first extension of World off Warcraft , left to Europe and North America on January 16th, 2007 concerned video, and to China on September 10th, 2007 concerned video.

Innovations

The extension introduces improvements, or innovations with the play, of which the most quoted are:
  • the possibility of exploring a new continent made up of seven zones, Outreterre.
  • Two new races of characters: elves of Blood for the Horde and Draeneï for Alliance. On this occasion, certain specificities related to the two clans disappear. It is from now on possible to create Paladin in the Horde and a Shaman in Alliance.
  • the introduction of new keeps like Karazhan, Caves of Time or the Keep of the Storm. The introduced high level authorities proceed by group of 25 players maximum, and either 40.
  • the new instanciés keeps support two levels of difficulty: normal and heroic. Starting from level 70, the players can choose the difficulty: if the heroic mode is more difficult, it brings better rewards.
  • the limit of level of the characters passes from 60 to 70.
  • the appearance of a new trade: Jeweller.
  • the introduction of flying mountings airships by the player, in Outreterre.

Anecdotes

  • the first misadventure to have reached level 70 is French, its pseudonym is Gawell, of the Millenium guild, on the waiter Archimonde, the whole in only 28 hours.

However, this misadventure was played by a Millenium member who was not Gawell: Gullerbone, whose pseudonym is Guller concerned. The Millenium guild used a technique known as of Powerleveling for this exploit: Ten Millenium members took turns permanently to assist Gawell in its rise in level which occurred in the following way:

Gawell (played by Gullerbone) attracted (" pullait") all monsters available around him, using the fastest fate of the class magus: Burn ( Scorch ), which has a time of incantation of 1,5 second. As well as the Nova fate of mystery instantaneous AoE more effective than Brûlure (video cf it that Millenium realized). Its fellow-members thus occupied themselves to kill the monsters with the chain for Gawell, which as a first target of the monster, gained all the experiment of the monster. This process enabled him to kill on average 8 to 10 monsters per minute, while doing nothing but attract them (its fellow-members killing the monsters), and caused many criticisms on behalf of the players, who estimated this " First to 70" unfair, because thus 10 to 15 members were continuously occupied to assemble in level only one misadventure. However, the organization of the Millenium guild, which had very planned, is a beautiful performance all the same. Like Gullerbone, which had prepared its way by avoiding the zones with low level of monster, he thus traversed:

  • Nagrand ( Nagrand )

  • Strong current-of-Nothing ( Netherstorm )
  • Peninsula of the infernal flames ( Hellfire Peninsula )

by avoiding the instanciés searches (not very profitable), and keeps.
