World movement of the partisans of peace
The Pacifisme always found a great echo in the reflection and the action Communiste since its origins. Thus, the Mouvement Amsterdam Pleyel in the years 1930 precedes it the pacifist movement Communiste according to war.
Partly resulting from the French Resistance (the future Movement of Peace French), partly of the gathering of intellectuals against the atomic Weapon (the future World council of Peace), the world Mouvement of the Partisans of Peace (total generic expression) will quickly be controlled by the international communist Mouvement (Kominform).
Consequently, all the problems of the Movement are expressed through dialectical constraining: to try to create a universal movement of mass world, but also to support the Soviet foreign politics. It seems that the more time will pass, the more the balance will lean towards this second objective.
Thus, if the Appel of Stockholm of 1949 (against the use of the atomic bomb) is a true success, the Movement will never condemn the Soviet atomic experiments.
