World federation of karate

The world Federation of karate , called World Karate Federation or WKF in English, is the principal organization directing of the Karaté in the world and only recognized by the International Olympic committee. Founded in June 1970 under the name of World Union off Karate-C Organizations thanks to the impulse of the French Jacques Delcourt, which is Honorary president today, it has his seat with Madrid and is currently directed by the Spanish Antonio Espinos. It organizes every two years of the championships of the world of karate seniors since the year of its creation and of the Championnats of the world of karate juniors and juniors since 1999.
