World cup of male volley ball
General information
It is about a tournament on invitation whose organization is dealt with by the Japanese federation since 1977. It is in general opened with the two first of each continental championship (Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Asia), plus Japan and a guest.
Although not really official, this tournament offers to each edition, the qualification for the Olympic Games with the 3 classified first.
He is played in the form of Round Robin: each team meeting all the others successively.
