The world Prix Cino Del Duca is an important international prize French annually rewarding the literary activity or scientific for a major personality of sciences or letters. This price was founded in 1969 by Simone Del Duca (1912-2004) to continue the work of her husband Cino Del Duca (1899-1967), resistant French and important press baron. The price is equipped with: 300000 €.

In 1975, Simone Del Duca creates the Fondation Simone and Cino Del Duca which gives the prices, foundation which will be, with died of its founder, in 2005 placed under the patronage of the Institut of France.
