World Company
The World Company is a imaginary Multinationale based with the the United States, appearing in the satirical emission of Canal +, the Puppets of information .
The development of the idea in the form of long-drawn-out metaphor throughout the sketches constitutes a parabola and a satire of the effects of the Globalisation.
Its name ( the world company in English) in itself is Subversif and suggests that the dice are pipes since only one and single trust with the totalitarian methods would have seized the worldwide economy, with the contempt of the fair play and the rules on the good performance of competition which form the liberal creed. This seizure would confer even a sufficient influence to him to dictate its will with the leaders of the other companies and the Heads of State.
Using the puppet of Sylvestre, his frameworks all are of the clone S, bearing costume-tie and having the head of the actor Sylvester Stallone.
The goal of the World Company is to do the utmost of money possible without any consideration for the people whom it employs nor for the Environnement. It is very close to the army and is a caricature often used by the movements altermondialists.
Within the emission, the Catholic church is caricatured in a World Company , called the Christ Company . The cardinals also have the head of the actor Sylvester Stallone, speak about faithful like customers, and they evoke the religious practices and demonstrations like tools of political Marketing for fidéliser and to recruit new believers. For example, the visit of the pope Jean Paul 2 in India in 1998 had been commented on by its cardinals, with the head of Sylvester Stallone, as being a " appropriateness; penetration diabolique" church on the grounds hindouists.
