WorldVision

WorldVision Enterprises, Inc. was a distributer of televised programs and vidéos created in 1962 under the name of ABC Films . It was the branch distribution of American Broadcasting Company, the production being ensured by ABC Circle Films, created the same year. The company first of all distributed productions of other producers before distributing those of ABC.

In 1971, FCC decides that the production and the Syndication of the emissions cannot be made consequently company any more. ABC Films is cut out in WorldVision (syndication) and ABC Circle Films (production).

WorldVision has been owned by many companies over the years. The growth off its video Home division was primarily under the ownership off Taft Broadcasting in the 1980s. In 1991, Taft sold WorldVision to Spelling Entertainment Group.
