Lénine is the author of a theoretical work and philosophical which wants to be in the continuity of that of Karl Marx, and which it defended against the “revisionists” (Eduard Bernstein, etc).

It is it should be noted that after the death of Lénine, its work was conscientiously censured in the USSR. With the beginning of the year 1930, from the point of view of the Stalinist theory of the Marxism-Leninism, appeared a dogma according to which neither Lénine, nor the Central committee could be wrong. Consequently, it quickly became necessary to withdraw any proof of the situations where both could have had a dissension, because in such a situation it was impossible that they are right at the same time both.

Leon Trotsky is particularly high against these practices, in which he saw the shape of Déification of a simple human being which had been able to make errors, and even had made some.

Later, the publication of the fifth Soviet edition “complete” of work of Lénine, published in 55 thick volumes between 1958 and 1965 left side certain written which or contradicted the dogma, or seemed not to correspond to the image that the USSR wanted to give of Lénine.
