Bosa is an Italian commune of the Province of Oristano in Sardinia. Worked is the chief town of the historical province of the Planargia.

Geography

Located on the edges of a river, Temo (what is rare in Sardinia), it is hardly far away from the west coast ( Marina di Bosa ) where a port is which includes/understands the Rossa island, right before the estuary of the river.

A hard copy phenician, from now on lost, which can be dated from, evokes a Gentilé Bs' N for this Toponyme, whose Ptolémée speaks again then under the name of Bosa.

Economy

Worked is famous for its Malvasia di Bosa (a soft white wine), the first wine with denomination protected in Sardinia which was made famous for the Documentary film Mondovino of Jonathan Nossiter (official selection in Cannes).
