Rough work of the Line Maginot located on the commune of Bréhain in the Moselle belonging to the Sector strengthened of Crusnes.

It is flanked by the Petit Work of the Bad Wood and the Petit work of Aumetz.

The Work includes/understands two entries and eight blocks of combat:

• Entered of the Ammunition : out of well, 2 bells GFM, 1 crenel JM/AC47
• Entered of the Men : out of well, 2 bells GFM, 1 crenel JM/AC47, 1 Bell LG
• Block 1 : block of infantry with 1 turret machine-gun, 1 bell GFM
• Block 2 : block of infantry with 1 turret machine-gun, 1 bell GFM
• Block 3 : block observatory with 1 bell GFM, 1 Bell VDP
• Block 4 : block of artillery with 1 turret of 75 Miss 33
• Block 5 : block of artillery with 1 turret of 135 and 1 bell GFM
• Block 6 : block of artillery with 1 turret of 75 Miss 33 and 1 Bell LG
• Block 7 : block of artillery with 1 turret of 81 and 1 bell GFM
• Block 8 : block of infantry with 1 bell GFM and 1 Bell JM
• Block 9 : block of infantry with 2 bells GFM and 1 Bell JM

The team of the work included/understood 615 men (including 22 officers) 128eme RIF and 152eme REP.
