Worf ( Wo' rIv in klingon) is a character of the universe of Star Trek . It is one of the seven season old main characters of Star Trek: The new generation before joining the protagonists of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as from the fourth season of this other series. It also appears in the last four feature-length films drawn from the work of Gene Roddenberry. It is the American actor Michael Dorn which lends its features to him.

Biography

Worf is a Klingon born on Qo' our (planet-mother of the Empire) in 2340. Its childhood is marked by the brutal disappearance of his/her father Mogh (influential member of the High council Klingon) and of his mother at the time of the massacre of Khitomer perpetrated by the Romulien S into 2346. Collected by Sergey and Helena Rozhenko, it preserves its first name with which his/her adoptive parents land associate however their patronym. As a citizen of the Federation of plain planets, the teenager is thus called officially Worf Rozhenko.
