Words of midnight
Of the words of midnight is a cultural emission of France 2 produced and presented since September 1999 by Philippe Lefait, former journalist of the chain. The emission is weekly, Wednesday evening towards 01:00.
The emission Of the words of midnight makes following the emission the Circle of midnight created and presented by Michel Field in 1991, then presented by Laure Adler of 1993 to 1997 and a transitory way by Olivier Minne in 1997 before Philippe Lefait does not take it again. The purpose of it is to present all the aspects of the culture apart from any period of promotion of the artists, while generally making meet people of very different artistic horizons.
During seven years, Philippe Lefait animated, in a successive way, a basic conversation with its two guests, intersected with musical pauses. The guests were then brought by the presenter to charge “what they had heard of the other” (sic). Since the re-entry 2006, Of the words of midnight receives on its plate four to five guests in a conversation a little less direct with the presenter.
In 2007, Of the words of midnight has more than 250 numbers to its credit.
