A word-form is a word, any, considered in its aspect not Sémantique but Graphique.

The concept of word-form was developed by the linguist Igor Mel' čuk. It is about a concept of Lexicologie which is opposed to that Lemme (or lexical item). Whereas the lemma indicates a word as it is carrying a certain semantic autonomy, it word-form indicates only the word in its most traditional dimension. I arrive consists of two lemmas, and one can also say that it consists of two word-forms: the difference of the two concepts is not sensitive; but potato consists of only one lemma and three word-forms apple , of and ground .
