Wookiee

The Wookiees are a species of the fictitious universe of the Star Wars . Most famous Wookiee is Chewbacca, the partner of Han Solo.

One can see their warlike talents with work in the third episode of the saga, the Revenge of Sith .

Description

Wookiees are great persons Humanoïde S, very hairy, usually exceeding the two meters in height. They live the planet Kashyyyk. Their language, Shyriiwook, consists of cries comparable to growls.

Remarks

the name Wookiee probably comes from first film of George Lucas, THX 1138 , where one can intend somebody to pronounce in a radio the sentence “I think I ran over has wookiee one the expressway”.
In the French translations, syntax Wookie is preferred with Wookiee , whereas it is regarded as an English fault.
