Woody jasmine

The woody jasmine , or yellow jasmine ( Jasminum fruticans ) is one of rare the Jasmin S spontaneously pushing in France, where one primarily meets it in Mediterranean region. It flowers in spring on the dry and sunny grounds, often rock, with a light preference for limestone. Its perfume is unimportant or null.

Description

Shrub or buissonnant sub-shrub, with quadrangular stem. Sheet S alternate, generally trifoliate, with spatulées leaflets and luisantes. Solitary flowers or into small Bunch S (often three flowers per bunch) with the armpit of the sheets and the end of the branches. Short chalice tubulé with five long and narrow teeth. yellow Corolla with long tube finished by five slightly considered lobes. The Fruit is a bay black purple.
