Woldeab Woldemariam
Woldeab Woldemariam , politician and journalist érythrée N, born with Adi Zarna (province of Seraye) 1908, died in Asmara, 1995.
Woldeab studies with the Swedish mission where it obtains its vat. It founds the first newspaper in Tigrinya: Hanti Ertra in 1947. It Co-founds the first trade union of workers of the African history: The Confederation of the Eritrean workers.
It engages politically with the freedom fighters by uniting the Parti for freedom and progress (PLP), carried out by the Ras Tessema Asborom. It takes part in the foundation of the independence block with the sheik Ibrahim Sultan Ali and Degeat Seid Abdelkader Kebire, leaders of the Moslem Ligue (pro-independence).

He is regarded as one of the fathers of Eritrean independence.
