Wolddiep
The Wolddiep is a channel Dutch of the province of Groningue.
Wolddiep is located in the Westerkwartier and connects the Dwarsdiep to Boerakker to the Canal Van Starkenborgh to Gaarkeuken. Its length is of approximately 7 km.
With the Matsloot, this channel mainly ensures the drainage of the south of the Westerkwartier. It is fed by the Dwarsdiep, whose water is divided with Boerakker: a part leaves towards north and borrows Wolddiep, to join the Canal Van Starkenborgh and the Hoerediep which carries out towards the Lauwersmeer. The other part of water resulting from Dwarsdiep passes via the Matsloot to join the Hoendiep with Enumatil.
