Wojciech Kilar , born the July 17th 1932 with Lwów, in Poland (maintaining in Ukraine) is a Polish type-setter of film music and classical music.

Biography

Wojciech Kilar followed its studies to Katowice then to Paris, with Nadia Boulanger. Its work for orchestra Krzesany (approximate translation: by climbing the mountains), created in 1974, became celebrates, however as of the years 1975, it was more known as a type-setter of musics for the cinema, with an increasing reputation with Hollywood (it worked with Roman Polanski). It continues to compose of the symphonic music, the chamber music or works for instruments solo.
