Woigot

The Woigot is a French Rivière of Lorraine (Meurthe-et-Moselle, the Moselle)

Woigot takes its source (makes a conjunction of sources of it) close to Landres and Mount-Bonvillers. After having crossed Mance, Woigot will feed the water level of Briey and will be thrown then in the Orne with Auboué after a course of 21 km (Mairy, Tucquegnieux, Mancieulles, Mance, Briey, Moutiers, Auboué). Its principal affluents are the Ruisseau of the Valley, the Grand Ru and the Hâpré.

Of its source to the outfall close to old the Mill of Dolhain, in Upstream of the water level of Briey, Woigot is classified river of first category of the private field. From there and until Auboué where it is thrown in the Orne, it passes in second category of the private field.

The woigot undergoes since year 2007 much of modifications. In particular, several operations which fight against pollution were practiced. Many voluntary took part in harvests of waste. On the level of briey, installations are in hand.
