Without blood

Without blood (original title Senza Sangue ), is a Romance court of Alessandro Baricco, published in 2002

One:
In the farm isolated from Mato Rujo, where a man with his two children saw, in an apparently quiet life, the drama bursts without explanation: a Mercedes old woman, four men open fire and kill Manuel Roca and his/her son. The little girl hidden in a trap door. One of the men opens the trap door, sees it… one moment, time stops. It closes again the trap door. The small one survives.

Two:
A dialog in a restaurant. An old woman, an old man. The past is discovered: years after, the little girl became Donna Ground, the name which accompanies revenge that it carries out effectively. Behind it this past, in front of it the man who opened the trap door. In does two Baricco episodes tie (or unties?) a wild drama with the accents of thriller black, but the Italian author even remains faithful to him, and mixes revenge, suspense and blood with the softness of poetry.
