With the fruits of passion is a Romance of Daniel Pennac, published in 1999. It is the sixth and the last of the saga Malaussène.

Summary

Therese is in love! Therese the breakable one! And of which? Of a public auditor at the Court of Auditors, called a Marie-Colbert the Roberval one, alias MC2. In the misalliance kind, one cannot better do but what can one against the love, even in a tribe where one already knew many spectacular and unhappy loves? Each one goes there from its opinion however. Benjamin, the chief of the Malaussène clan has a dark presentiment which will not be long in being checked. MC2, énarque distinguished, predisposed to take care of the destinies of the nation is especially interested by the talent of scapegoat of Benjamin and the gifts of clairvoyance of Therese, gifts that unfortunately the marriage must make him lose. The marriage will take place well but will be hardly consumed. A series of catastrophes follows, fires, violent deaths that Daniel Pennac connects with the liveliness and the humor which characterize it, adding an irresistible episode to the saga of his picturesque tribe of Belleville.
