Witchblade (televised series)

Witchblade is a Televised series American in a 90 minute old pilot and 23 42 minutes episodes, created by Ralph Hemecker according to the comic éponyme of Marc Silvestri and diffused between the June 12th 2001 and the August 26th 2002 on the network TNT. In France, the series was diffused starting from the March 3rd 2003 on TF6.

Synopsis

The series takes again the beginnings of the comic published at Top Cow. Witchblade is a mythical steel glove which equipped with warlike throughout the History. Containing a stone of mysterious origin and a will which seems to him clean, this glove is at the same time an asset and a curse. It gets for that which it chooses of increased perceptions, the reflexes and the phenomenal capacities of combat and can be transferred out of sword, even in armor if need be.

November 11th, 2000 is the date on which, according to prophecies, Witchblade must be a new partner. It is this day there that Sara Pezzini, lieutenant of the criminal police force of New York, with the continuation of a man who she thinks of being implied in a murder, penetrates in the museum of the millionaire Kenneth Irons who is the current owner, but not carrying, of Witchblade. And it is in the shooting which follows inside the museum that the glove chooses Sara like new host, under the eyes of a mysterious observer: Ian Nottingham.

Initially undergoing the visions which the glove gets to him, visions which provide him information on its investigation in progress, letting the glove first of all protect it from its own boss without really including/understanding nor to react, Sara, with the probably interested assistance of Kenneth Irons, will learn how to control the capacities of Witchblade and will make use of it to avenge deaths for its close relations, his partner and his father while remaining however, for the moment, within the limits of the law which she protects as an police officer.
