Wished Dumont

Désiré Dumont is a zoologist French which took part in the forwarding towards the southern Lands that Nicolas Baudin at the beginning of the Havre ordered starting from October 19th, 1800. Installed on board the Naturalist as an zoologist-assistant, it went down to the island from France with several other members from this scientific exhibition.

At the beginning of forwarding, he sea sickness suffered as from the night from the 20 to the 21 October from a which left it confined to bed during two days on a mattress installed under a table where he was several times trampled without having the force to protest
