Wisden Cricketers\' Almanack

The Wisden Cricketers' Almanack (or more simply the Wisden ) is a reference book in the world of the Cricket. It is published in the the United Kingdom each year since 1864. It was creates by the cricketer English John Wisden (1826-1884).

Wisden Cricketers off the Year

The journalists of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack decree each year the trophy of Wisden Cricketer Of The Year, which rewards the five better cricketers playing in England. Of 2000 with 2003, the title however concerned players practitioner in the whole world.

Except rare exceptions, a player can receive this reward only once in his career.

Wisden Cricketers off the Century

In 2000, a panel of one hundred specialists in the cricket indicated by Wisden decreed the title of player of the century with five players: Sir Donald Bradman ( 100 voix/100 ), Sir Garfield Sobers ( 90 votes ), Sir Jack Hobbs ( 30 votes ), Shane Warne ( 27 votes ) and Sir Viv Richards ( 25 votes ).
