Wipro Technologies is a software firm Indian created in 1980, and whose seat is located at Bangalore.

She resulting from Wipro Ltd, is undertaken in operation since 1945 and officially created in 1946 as Western India Vegetable Products Limited.

It is today one of the principal data-processing service companies in the world.

Its president and principal shareholder are Azim Premji, the 21st world fortune according to the classification Forbes 2007.
