Winning Eleven

Winning Eleven is a series of Video game of football published by the Japanese company Konami. Developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and directed by Shingo Takatsuka, said “Seabass”, the series appeared in 1995 on PlayStation. In Europe, it initially was known under the name dISS Pro before being renamed Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) starting from 2001.

The series Winning Eleven/PES became one of most popular kind with the rival series FIFA Football of Electronic Arts. Appreciated for its realism, the series is often regarded as the reference of footballistic simulation and its will have exceeds from now on the borders of the video game.
