Winklarn is a commune of Bavaria in Germany. In 2006, there were 1454 inhabitants. Winklarn is located in the Haut-Palatinat. In the north of Winklan, the forest of Frauenstein is.
Winklarn is mentioned for the first time in 1270. In 1822, a large fire devastates Winklarn. In 1972, the old communes of Muschenried, Haag, Pondorf and Schneeberg are integrated.
