Wine grower

Wine grower or vine grower is the trade people who cultivate the Vigne to produce Vin or Raisin.

He is in general the wine manager and can according to the cases being also cavist, person in charge of several farms, related to a Co-operative or independent vine grower.

Some distinguish the " viticulteur" of the " vigneron" :

the " viticulteur" would be that which cultivates the vine. Generally, it brings the grape produced to a cooperative wine cave and does not vinify.
the " vigneron" would be that which cultivates the vine and vinifies. He is producer and generally directs his own exploitation.
