Wind in the willows (novel)

the Wind in the willows ( The Wind in the Willows , 1908) is a novel written by the English novelist Kenneth Grahame (March 8th, 1859 - July 6th, 1932). It is one of traditional of the literature for child. This book was written at the origin for the son of the author who shared the stubbornness of Clamping plate, Baron tétard Toad off Toad Hall (one of the main characters).

Adpatations

The Walt Disney Company took as a starting point this work to realize and conceive:

  • a section of cartoon film, the Clamping plate and the Schoolmaster, baptized the Pond with the frogs .
  • an attraction, Mr. Toad' S Wild Wrinkles, based on the film
  • a restaurant, Toad Hall Restoring , with Disneyland Paris
  • a composition for orchestra of harmony, The Wind off the willows of Johan de Meij
