A wind anabatic is an upward wind produced by the lightening of a mass of Air in general hot rising along a geographical relief.

Various weather conditions can create a wind anabatic, for example in Montagne, imbalance between the masses of air heated near the ground and those located above the valleys causes a circulation of air called also wind of slope .
