Winchester '73 is an American western carried out by Anthony Mann, left the April 26th 1951.

Synopsis

Winchester model 1873 is the weapon which conquered the West. All the cowboys dream to have one of them. Manufactured artisanalement, the Winchester factory indicates of them one in particular whose quality exceeds all the others, it is the " one on mille". Precisely, one of them is the stake of the contest of shooting launched in Dodge city for the centenary of the festival of independence. It is also the reason for which Lin McAdam goes there but its objective is not so much to gain the rifle to find a man who, like him, highly skilled gunner, could be well among the candidates.
