Winamp

Winamp is a Multimedia player owner for Microsoft Windows. Created by Justin Frankel, of the company NullSoft; then repurchased by AOL, Winamp is one of most former readers the multi-media.

It is able to read almost all the audio formats and video, of which the format owner Nullsoft Streaming Video (NSV). It cannot on the other hand read the formats QuickTime, RealAudio or RealVideo.

Others patchs add many functions like French skins, as well as translations of DLL of the software (ex: in_mp3.dll being used to read the MP3). The site proposes also a pack more (called Pack Ultime) which makes it possible for example to take again with starting the reading of the file where it had stopped.

Images with Winamp

Since beginning 2006 , Todaé developed a plug-in named Image' in Winamp making it possible Winamp to post images. Two modes are possible, the diaporama mode with a reading uninterrupted of the photographs contained in the list of the manager, or a reading in mode 3D.
