WinLAME

WinLame is a Free software for the file conversion digital audios. It makes it possible to convert files towards the formats Mp3, Ogg, Wma or Wav. It is also able to extract the music directly since audio CD.

The last update dated February 9th, 2006 announcing version 4 prerelease which corrects many bugs.

Availability

The software is currently available only under the Microsoft Windows platform. WinLame is distributed under GNU General Public License. The single language available is the English language however it exists an amateur translation of the logiciel.
The software is compatible Windows 95 /98/NT/Me/XP.
