Wiltz is a city in the north of the Grand-Duché of Luxembourg and chief town of the commune and canton bearing the same name in the district of Diekirch.
It is crossed by the river Wiltz.
To the highway network it is connected by the trunk roads N26, N12 and N25.
The railway connects Wiltz to the capital by the line Wiltz-Kautenbach and thereafter by the Belgian line Luxembourg-Ettelbruck-Troisvierges-Border
