Biography

Colin Henry Wilson (born the June 26th 1931 with Leicester) is a writer Britannique.

It becomes famous in 1956 with The Outsider (the Man outwards) a book which will popularize the existential philosophy in Great Britain, in the various aspects of Aliénation in their work at certain personalities of the cultural world like Albert Camus, Jean-Paul Sartre, Ernest Hemingway, Hermann Hesse, Fedor Dostoïevski, T.E. Lawrence, Vaslav Nijinsky or Vincent Van Gogh.

In parallel, it is interested in criminology, the paranormal, fantastic (Lovecraft) and in psychology. Its novel the vampires of space was adapted to the cinema by Tobe Hooper ( Lifeforce , 1985 with Mathilda May).

Author of more than 80 works, it gives conferences regularly in the United States.
