FW17B is a F1 of the committed stable Williams during the championship of the world 1995, with the hands of Damon Hill and David Coulthard.
Dominated by the Benetton B195 of Michael Schumacher, the pilots Williams receive from an good eye the evolution B of FW17, with five races of the end of the championship, whereas the variation with the two championships is already important. And as of its first exit, the FW17B is victorious, between the hands of the young person David Coulthard, already author of the pole, which is essential in front of Schumacher and Hill. Coulthard will sign three pole consecutive, will finish three times on the podium but will not impose itself any more, Schumacher gaining three of the last five Grands Prix, ensured of the title as of the quatozième handle… Hill gains the ultimate race of the season on the basis of the pole, and finishes second of the championship, in front of her team-member. The FW17B will not have made it possible the team of Grove to seize the title, but it represented an important progress compared to the FW17, and especially an excellent base for dominating FW18 of 1996.
