William Tetley

William Tetley (February 10th 1927 -) is a lawyer, a Militaire, a literary critic and a Canadian politician . He was Minister for the financial institutions in the cabinet of Robert Bourassa.

He studied with Ville Mount-Royal, with the Université McGill, the Université Laval and the royal Collège of the Marine of Canada. In 1952, it enters to the Barreau of Quebec, then works in the Canadian royal Marine, the Montreal Star and for The Gazette.

It practiced its lawyer trade until in 1968 when he became vice-president of the Liberal party of Quebec. Three years earlier, it had become alderman in his municipality.

At the time of a by-election, at the beginning of December of 1968, it elected is appointed of Our-Lady-of-Grace, then re-elected to the provincial election of 1970. Until 1975, it occupies the ministry for the companies and co-operatives, then he is briefly public Minister for Labor in 1975-1976.

He leaves the policy in 1976, preferring to teach the right to the McGill University. Author of several works in right, he was moreover president of division of the YMCA, vice-president of the Scouts of Quebec and member elect of the Ordre of Canada.
