William Starke Rosecrans
William Starke Rosecrans (September 6th 1819 – March 11th 1898) was an inventor, directing coal-oil company , Diplomate, politician and officer of the US Army. It became famous as a Général of the Armée with the Union at the time of the American Civil War. It was victorious at the time of many battles on the theater of the west, as with Corinth, Stones River, like at the time of the Campagne of Tullahoma, but its military career ended with the disastrous defeat of Chickamauga in 1863.
