William Philips (general)
William Philips , born in 1731 and died in 1781 is a artillerist and general officer of the British armed which was major-general during the Guerre of independence of the United States of America. Captive fact with Saratoga in 1777, it belongs to the Convention Army until its exchange with the American general Benjamin Lincoln in 1780. He died of the Typhus the May 13rd 1781 with Petersburg.
