William Pengelly
William Pengelly is a geologist and one of the first archeologist S British, born the January 12th 1812 and dead the March 16th 1894. Its name is associated with the demonstration that the biblical chronology of the age of the Ground calculated by the bishop James Ussher (1581-1656) was false. It receives the Médaille Lyell in 1886.
