William McMaster Murdoch (February 28th 1873 - April 15th 1912) was the 1st officer of the RMS Titanic . It was born the February 28th 1873 with Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland from alliance from Samuel Murdoch and Jane Muirhead. William Murdoch was of Quart the evening of the collision of the Titanic with the Iceberg, it is him which ordered to transfer and stop the machines to be able to go into reverse, it is him also which actuated the closing of the tight doors under the water line. He perishes with the Titanic the April 15th 1912 at 38 years. Its body, if it were found, was never identified.
