William Luther Pierce , born on September 11th 1933, dead on July 23rd 2002, was an American politician of Extreme-right-hand side.

Doctor in physics, it founds in 1974 his own party, National Alliance , which preaches the Racial segregation and claims to fight for the safety of the “white Race”. William Luther Pierce was also combined with the American Nazi party.

It is especially known to have written, under the pseudonym of Andrew McDonald, The Turner diaries , science fiction novel which describes a coup d'etat led to the United States by white supremacists. The work is regarded as having inspired, by the described scenes of attack, several American terrorists of extreme-right-hand side like Timothy McVeigh. He also wrote Hunter , a novel in the same vein.

William Pierce also dealt of radio programs intended to promote her political sights and with edition of racist music.
