William Hewlett

William R. Hewlett (born the May 20th 1913, dead the January 12th 2001) was the cofounder with David Packard of Hewlett-Packard (HP).

It was born with Ann Arbor in the Michigan and obtained its license with the university of Stanford in 1934, and its MaƮtrise with the Massachusetts Institute off Technology (MIT) in 1936.

He was president of HP of 1964 with 1977, and been used like CEO of 1968 for 1978, succeeded by John A. Young. He was president of the steering committee until in 1983, and was then useful as vice-president of the council until in 1987. In 1995, it received the Prix Lemelson MIT to reward its course.
