William Gosset

William Sealy Gosset (June 13rd, 1876 - October 16th, 1937) known under the Student pseudonym is a statistician English. Employed brewery Guinness to stabilize the taste of the Beer, he thus invented the Test of Student. The test of Student is used today in a standard way in econometrics to test the nullity of a Coefficient in a linear Regression normal.
