William Cowper , born with Petersfield in the Sussex towards 1666 and dead the March 8th 1709, is a surgeon and Anatomiste English, famous for its description of what one currently calls the gland of Cowper.

In March 1682, he is the apprentice of William Bignall, a London surgeon . In 1691, it is allowed To boreit S Company and starts to exert in London the same year.
