William Brewster is a American Ornithologue , born the July 5th 1851 and died in 1919.
Brewster is the conservative of the ornithological department of the Museum off Comparative Zoology of the university of Harvard of 1886 with 1900. He is the cofounder with Elliott Coues and Joel Asaph Allen of the American Ornithologists' Union in 1883 which he directs of 1895 to 1898. He is the author of Birds off the Cape Areas off Lower California (1902) and of Birds off the Cambridge Region off Massachusetts (1906).
