Willem Drost (April 19th 1633 - February 25th 1659) was a Dutch painter baroque and printer.

It was born in what was then the United Provinces of Holland. Although he lived and painted at one time when the influence of Dutch artists on European art reached its apogee, large thing of his life is not known.

About 1650, it became student of Rembrandt, painting historical or biblical scenes, studies symbolic systems and portraits.

As student, it made in 1654 a table entitled Bethsabée , inspired by the table of Rembrandt makes the same year on the same subject.
