Wildenstein
Wildenstein is a common French, located in the department of the Haut-Rhin and the area Alsace.
Geography
Wildenstein is the highest village of the valley of the the Thur. The dwellings are bound along the main street, enclosed by the steep slopes of the Altenberg in the west (1197 m) and of the Batteriekopf in the west (1311 m). A section of the Route of the Peaks encroaches on the communal territory without there being an direct access since the center. The collar of Bramont (965 m) makes it possible to join the Vosgean city of the Bresse. In spite of its denomination, the Lac of Wildenstein is entirely located on the commune of Kruth.
