Wild Louise , born the September 18th 1973 with Sidney, is a Athlète Handisport Australia

Born with a Myélodysplasie (serious deficiency of the Spinal column), it begins the Natation as of the three years age. It practices many sport such as the athletics, the Basket-ball and even the Boxe.

At the 14 years age, whereas it is becoming one of the best swimmers handisport, it must give up the swimming pool to undergo an surgical operation in order to correct a curve with its spinal column. However this one results in to limit its capacity to swim.

On the councils of trainers, it turns then to the athletics and the race in armchair. It obtains results quickly.

It takes part thus in the Championship of the world handisport at 16 years in 1990 gaining the 100 m then the 200 m before being disqualified at this distance to be left its corridor.

Then at the time of the paralympic Jeux of summer 1992 it gains three gold medals out of 100 m, 200 m, 400 m as well as a money medal on 800 Mr. It will also take part in the paralympic Jeux of summer 1996 gaining four new gold medals.

But especially, at the time of Plays paralympic of summer 2000 of Sidney, it is selected to light the Olympic flame before gaining two new gold medals out of 5.000 m and 1.500 m and a medal of money over 800 Mr.
